The start of new years always tends to bring back memories of some of the amazing people I have gotten to know through doing business for them. Not only did the people bring such joy to my life, the sentimental items that I was able to creatively bring to life for their homes and families did as well. In reflection of past years, here are some of the most memorable pieces and projects that continue to ignite my passion for what I do each day!
Framed several pieces signed by famous rapper, Ice Cube, that were proudly presented on Jimmy Kimmel’s show on June 14th, 2011.
Custom framed album “Disraeli Gears” was the second studio album by the British rock band, Cream. It was released in November 1967 and went on to reach No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. Autographed by Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker. The piece was framed using conservation and preservation techniques to ensure no harm
Built a series of custom frames and shadow boxes, designed by decorators from Victoria Hagan Interiors for a large number of pieces from The Golden Door’s Japanese art collection dating back as early as the 18th century Edo period.
WWII Flight Jacket shadow box. It was created for the family that wanted to protect and display the important treasure. The piece was custom built to include a functioning door to allow adding of additional memorabilia once mounted.
Cheers to what’s to come and the new endeavors along the journey.
